About the Event
This is a private event reserved for Commit Partnership's White Antiracist Affinity Group
To deepen our understanding of antiracism and our individual and collective antiracist work, our Spring 2021 learning journey will take us on a deep dive of Ibram X. Kendi’s How to Be an Antiracist. Over the course of the next six month, we will read three chapters per month and engage in a monthly dialogue as a group. Our monthly dialogues will be designed to accomplish two primary goals: apply antiracism principles, ideas, and actions to our personal work and to our professional work.
For those who would like to take an even more personal journey, you are invited to pair this work with the Be Antiracist journal also by Kendi.
For our July discussion, please read the follow chapters of How to Be an Antiracist in advance of July 29.
> Chapter 16: Failure
> Chapter 17: Success
> Chapter 18: Survival
